Location: Cartoon Network Studios, 300 N. Third Street, Burbank, CA 91502. Entry to the event will be near Palm Avenue and Glenoaks.

Come out to our LXiA April Networking Mixer & Guest Speaker Q&A with Creator Diego Molano. The Q&A will take place at Cartoon Network Studios, and immediately be followed by a Networking Mixer at Story Tavern.

The Q&A will focus on Diego Molano's career path as a Background Layout Artist, Character Designer, Storyboard Artist, and developing and pitching his own original show ideas. This talk will be geared to those interested in learning about the artistic roles in animation, and using that knowledge and experience as a Creator of an original animated series.

There are two LXiA EventBrite RSVP Tickets. One RSVP ticket includes both the Q&A and Networking Mixer. The other RSVP ticket includes only the Networking Mixer. Both EventBrite tickets are FREE.

Cartoon Network Studios is a closed studio. Must RSVP via EventBrite in order to guarantee entry to the event. No guests allowed.

Parking Directions

There is street parking available on Palm Ave. There is a parking structure located on Palm Ave. next to the restaurant, Pampas. There is also a parking structure available next to the Police/Fire station that might have available spots. The entrance to the theater will be located by the corner of Palm Ave. and Glenoaks.

Diego Molano

Creator, Victor and Valentino 

Diego Molano is the creator of Cartoon Network’s upcoming animated series, Victor and Valentino. Based on his original short featured in the studio’s global Artists Program, Victor and Valentino is a supernatural adventure comedy that follows two half-brothers who spend a summer with their grandma in Monte Macabre, a small and mysterious town, where the myths and legends of Mesoamerican folklore come to life. 

Previously, Molano worked as a storyboard artist on Cartoon Network’s Emmy-nominated series, The Powerpuff Girls. Additionally, Molano has worked on Adult Swim’s Black Dynamite, Superjail! and China, IL. Molano is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).
